Francesco Casetta is Italian born from the city of Florence. Florence is famous for Renaissance architecture, art, fashion, music, and scenic views of the Tuscan hillside. Passion flows in this region, where the olive trees and grape vines are ready for harvest. Chef Francesco desires to take his cuisine to a level filled with delicate flavors and an artful presentation.
In 2017, Casetta Catering was doing so well that customers told him that he needed to begin selling his pasta and sauces at farmer's markets in the Houston Area. His wife Rebekah and himself checked out a few places and decided to try. Casetta Cucina was an instant success. They are now in two different farmer's markets: the Memorial Villages Farmer's Market that is open on Saturday from 9AM - 1 PM, and the Rice Famer's Market on Tuesday from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
Currently Chef Francesco is working as Chef/Owner in partnership with his wife Rebekah in Houston, Texas. He is always creating new pastas to please and appeal to all customers, allowing them to experience his food at home.
Casetta Cucina is tailored with Italian style hospitality service, specializing in taste and appealing to the eye. He strives for excellence with a feeling of warmth for all who shares the experience. Just like in Itlay, Chef Francesco creates inspired seasonal pasta that will bring you unforgetable taste and food style to your event. He believes in using only the best ingredients. Casetta Cucina is focused on providing high quality food for you to eat at home, either by yourself, or with friends and family.
Chef Francesco combines his research on traditional recipes with a creative experimental approach and modern techniques of preparation, which produce a world-class result. Quoting from an article written in the Houston Modern Luxury Magazine, “Casetta is easily one of America’s great chefs combining his talents with already established culinary excellence of Tony’s”.
In addition to our catering events and farmer's markets, he became a representative of the prestigious brands of Gaggenau-Thermador and Bosch in January 2015. In 2017, he began to represent Jen-Air. In 2018, LG Signature Kitchen, and in 2019, Dacor.
Operations Manager ~ Rebekah Casetta
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Rebekah gained extensive experience in financing while working on Wall Street. She gained more experience in event coordination at Disney while working for the hotels and resorts. After contemplating her return to the workforce after raising two children, she found herself going back to an old passion, event coordinating and service for customers, which brought her to partner with Chef Francesco Casetta in Casetta Cucina, who is also her life partner.
After helping a few customers through guiding them in how to organize their functions, she found herself enjoying the work so much. Consequently, it caused her to decide to extend her knowledge creating memorable events by combining organization and research abilities. It helps her to discover new trends and apply skills with the creativity of Chef Francesco, creating the ultimate food experience for you to take home with you to enjoy there.
