There's been a question going around that we at Casetta Catering wanted to address. The question is, what's the difference between personal and private chefs? Don't they do the same thing? The answer to this question is no. They are completely different.
The private chef cooks only for one family. The family is their main source of income and it is a full time job for the private chef to cook just for that one family. It could be three meals a day down to one meal a day, but they work for them only, no one else. If the private chef works for a big household they might also be in charge of doing the grocery shopping for the family and manage the kitchen if needed.
Personal chefs, which we at Casetta Catering are, cook for multiple families per week. Chef Francesco supports numerous families per week with multiple dishes for each home. The food is then delivered to the clients homes freshly prepared. In this each house has their own fully customized menu that the families choose and send to us. The food is prepared, packaged and stored so the family can then enjoy the meals when they would prefer to eat them.
Sounds great doesn't it? Fresh prepared, organic food prepared every week for everyone to enjoy...
